Timur Bayramov is a partner and head of M&A and corporate practice at E L W I.

Mr. Bayramov’s expertise includes advising on Russian and cross-border M&A transactions, joint ventures and private equity deals, complex corporate restructurings, general issues on Russian corporate, competition law matters, including merger control proceedings, regulatory consents (Governmental Commission, FAS, CBR etc.) and related matters.

• Advising on acquisitions of Russian assets across different industries (such as banking, online classifieds, energy and others) from foreign investors who are in the process of winding down their operations in Russia;
• Advising one of the bidders in the tender for acquisition of Russian business of one of the world's leading manufacturers of automobiles and commercial vehicles;
• Advising a confidential consortium of private investors in connection with acquisition of a leasing company and its debt portfolio from a major international company and related regulatory filings;
• Advising on acquisition of Russian car business;
• Advising on acquisition of a Russian financial institution from a foreign investor;
• Advising on sale of a Russian gold mining business to a private investor;
• Regulatory advice and obtaining clearance on acquisition of McDonalds assets in Russia;
• Advising on acquisition of 86.54% stake in PJSC ChTPZ from controlling shareholder Andrey Komarov by PAO TMK;
• Advising a consortium of foreign state investors in connection with acquisition of shares in two Russian oil & gas companies, obtaining regulatory clearances on the transaction;
• Advising on a joint venture between PJSC Gazprom Neft and Shell to develop the Leskinsky and Pukhutsyakhsky licensed plots on the Gydan Peninsula.
