Experience
- Advising a major Russian insurance business in connection with structuring of a potential deal for merger with insurance assets owned by a major Russian institutional investor, including sanctions and countersanctions issues;
- Advising a sovereign fund in connection with its participation in the purchase of shares in a leading integrated oil and gas and chemical company along with a number of other institutional investors;
- Advising Bermuda trusts in connection with multi-stage proceedings in the US, Bermuda and several European jurisdictions aimed to unfreeze and facilitate maintenance of personal assets (including a yacht, airplanes, real estate and portfolio investments);
- Advising a major Russian transportation group in connection with administrative petitioning for its removal from the US sanctions list;
- Representing a mobile and fixed network operator in an arbitration arising out of seller’s breach of shares’ sale and purchase agreement, and connected mediation procedure;
- Advising major Russian companies operating in pulp and paper, marine transportation and construction industries, in connection with IPO / SPO.
