• Alexander Shalaev – Partner. Alexander Shalaev and his team specialise in a wide range of corporate matters and commercial deals, including Russian and cross-border M&A deals, asset acquisition and joint venture, corporate restructuring, securities transactions, as well as general regulatory matters and intellectual property. In addition, Alexander Shalaev has extensive experience representing leading Russian companies in large and complex international projects in the oil and gas sector, including EPC and subsoil use matters, as well as experience in financial restructuring. Alexander has been recognised in the ‘Rising Star’ and ‘Next Generation Lawyer’ categories in the leading international ranking The Legal 500 in the areas of commercial law, corporate law and M&A, and has also been included in the international ranking The Best Lawyers.


• Alexander Urlyapov – Counsel. Alexander Urlyapov advised on syndicated and private financing deals, as well as debt restructuring deals with bank lenders and private investors holding debt securities. Among the clients on who Alexander advised are some of the largest Russian companies in the energy, aviation and mobile telecommunications sectors.


• Tigran Mikayelian – Associate. Tigran Mikaelyan advises clients on major M&A deals and joint venture transactions in the telecommunications and oil and gas sectors.
